Campus Barbers Inc., 612 E. Grand River Ave., has been in East Lansing for more than 40 years, and is the only shop of its kind in the city. Specializing in men’s haircuts, the shop provides the conversational atmosphere one would expect from a traditional barbershop.
“People sit in your chair and they tell you everything from hookups last night, to how they got drunk and threw up in the alley, to they hate their teacher, and they have no idea who you are,” barber Jeff Cooper said.
