The 15th annual Board of Water and Light Chili Cook-Off will take place from 5-9 p.m. Friday, in Lansing, at Adado Riverfront Park.
Chili recipes from restaurants and organizations in the Lansing area will be judged in the competition and have a chance to win the People’s Choice Award, which is voted on by the attendees.
Tickets for the event are $5 if purchased in advance at the Board of Water and Light Customer Service Center, 1232 Haco Dr.
Tickets also can be purchased at the gate for $10. One ticket allows access to unlimited chili and refreshments. Live music also will be provided.
Proceeds will go to local charities and non-profit organizations.
