College is a whole new world for many freshmen traveling campus for the first time. The State News sat down with one of these brave explorers to get a glimpse, in 15 questions or less, at a new face on campus and her perspective of her new frontier.
Meet Jenny Leveille
1. What is the best part of snow, even in April?
I love winter, and I love playing out in the snow. So I don’t mind the snow, but in April, it’s a little much. I love Christmastime, so it kind of reminds me of Christmas.
2. If you could say one thing to the MSU men’s basketball team, what would it be?
It’s too bad it had to end on such a bad note, because making it to the championship game was awesome.
3. Is there a fun quirk or unknown fact about you?
I have a birthmark on the top of my foot. People always think I hurt myself and ask what’s wrong, but it’s a birthmark.
4. What is your major?
Elementary education.
5. What has been your most life-changing event?
Probably coming to college.
6. If you could go to dinner with any musician, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Probably Taylor Swift. I love Taylor Swift. She seems like so much fun, so I would want to go to dinner with her.
7. Why did you join a sorority?
I wanted something to keep me busy. Like in high school, I was really involved and here I wasn’t at all. It gave me something to do and a new group of people to be with.
8. What is your favorite workout routine?
I love kickboxing. I used to take a kickboxing class back home and I loved it.
9. Who is your favorite Disney princess and why?
Probably Belle, from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.” My prom dress looked like her dress, and I was her for Halloween once when I was little.

10. If you could have any sort of superhuman power, what would it be?
To fly. It would be the most fun. It would definitely be the most useful. I would love to fly.
11. If you could be any kind of kitchen appliance, what would you be and why?
Probably a microwave. I feel like it’s the most useful one. I feel like you can do any of the basic needs with a microwave.
12. What’s your favorite kind of ice cream?
Anything with peanut butter, so like peanut butter flavored ice cream or something with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
13. If you could teleport anywhere, where would you go?
Probably somewhere with a lot of snow so I could snowboard.
14. What is your favorite, or least favorite, part about thunderstorms?
I hate thunderstorms. I was always scared when I was little. I don’t like any part of thunderstorms.
15. What do stilettos say to you?
Probably, “Watch out, I might fall over.” I am not graceful, and I have a hard time walking in heels.
