MSU groups collecting food donations

November 6, 2008

MSU’s Division of Housing and Food Services and Department of Intercollegiate Athletics are sponsoring the second annual Help Tackle Hunger Food Drive, continuing through Saturday’s football game.

MSU students can donate nonperishable items and personal care items at the Union, Kellogg Center, Spartan Village Community Center, University Apartments Community Center and all residence hall lobbies.

On Saturday, students can bring items to collection stations outside Spartan Stadium, Munn Field and in tailgating lots 89 and 92. Donations will benefit the Greater Lansing Food Bank and the MSU Student Food Bank. Monetary donations will be accepted at Sparty’s coffeehouses, the Union Central Store today and inside Spartan Stadium Saturday during the football game.
