College is a whole new world for many freshmen traveling campus for the first time. The State News sat down with one of these brave explorers to get a glimpse, in 15 questions or less, at a new face on campus and his perspective of his new frontier.
Freshman fifteen Q's
1. What is your major? I am in James Madison (College), but I am undecided there.
2. Where are you from? I am from Oakland Township, Mich.
3. Where do you live? In Case (Hall).
4. Did anyone ever give you an apple while trick-or-treating? Yes, I got one in fifth grade and it actually happened numerously throughout my trick-or-treating years. I lived by a dentist.
5. What has been your favorite Halloween costume? Why? In seventh grade, I wore a KISS T-shirt with a Bill Clinton mask. I got more appraisal than my friend who had a homemade costume.
6. What do you consider to be the lamest costume you’ve ever had? Why? I would have to say a dinosaur costume that my mom had made for me. When I look back on that, it looks so stupid. It is embarrassing.
7. How much candy would you take when someone would just leave a bowl out unsupervised? Four to five pieces but not the whole thing. I hate when kids do that.
8. What is the appropriate age to stop trick-or-treating? Why? I would say eighth grade because it seems childish. Basically any age when you should have something better to do, like Halloween parties.
