Student reports laptop stolen from Main Library
A white Apple MacBook valued at $2,000 was reported stolen from the Main Library at about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. A 19-year-old female student reported the theft after noticing her laptop missing from a table on the fourth floor, where she had placed it while studying, McGlothian-Taylor said. After realizing the laptop was gone, the student asked two people in the area if they had seen someone take the computer. Both witnesses reported seeing a female pass through, but neither reported seeing anyone take the computer, McGlothian-Taylor said. There are no suspects and the case is still under investigation.
