48-hour marathon to take place with more than 90 events

A 48-hour arts marathon will kick off tonight with a 5 p.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony in the courtyard between Kresge Art Center and the Auditorium.

The Arts Marathon Weekend will feature more than 90 events including swing dancing classes and a 3 a.m. “Guitar Hero” competition, said Rob Roznowski, assistant theater professor and event coordinator.

Forty academic departments and clubs will showcase student and faculty talent, he said.
