Golfweek magazine announced MSU senior Sara Brown as Player of the Week and the MSU women’s golf team as Team of the Week on Monday.
The Spartans were chosen after defeating Denver on March 9 at the Texas A&M “Mo“Morial Tournament. Finishing nine shots better than Denver, it was the team’s second consecutive win.
Brown was selected after her second consecutive tournament win and her third career title after rounds 78-70-73.
The team and players awarded are featured in the March 15 print edition of Golfweek.
