This is in response to the article Tickets in Mile High City scarce for MSU students (SN 3/20). Not only were tickets for MSU’s tournament games in Colorado available to the official team traveling party, players and coaches’ families and donors, but also to alumni and MSU students.

If a student wanted to get a ticket, they were available at the Spartan Athletic Ticket Office. The ticket office had tickets available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday. Also, the 550 total number of tickets allotted to MSU was a little underestimated. The $180 for tickets was wrong, as it cost $58 per session, or $116 for the whole weekend. I think the article may have exaggerated a bit.
