Woman receives citation for stalking Shaw resident
A woman with no university affiliation was cited for misdemeanor assault and stalking Feb. 9 in West Shaw Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. A 21-year-old male student contacted police after the suspect, his ex-girlfriend, harassed him multiple times beginning in October 2007, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student said the suspect had waited outside his room, thrown objects at him, called repeatedly and left threatening voice mails, McGlothian-Taylor said. The victim does not intend to file charges at this time.
