Student reports stolen iPod with case, cell phone

A 21-year-old female student reported that a suspect stole her cell phone, iPod and iPod case, estimated to be worth $409, Saturday after she dropped the items while walking from Lot 62 to Wells Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The victim said she believes a suspect who was walking behind her may have picked up the items between 10:25 and 10:30 a.m., McGlothian-Taylor said. The suspect was described as a heavy-set 5-foot-11 male between 18 and 22 years old with blond hair, wearing black shoes and black clothes, McGlothian-Taylor said. MSU police are investigating the incident.
