MSU senior golfer Matt Harmon was named a third-team All-America, the first time since 2002 a Spartan has received the honor.
Harmon finished his four years at MSU with the lowest career scoring average (73.51) in MSU history. He was a unanimous selection as the Big Ten Golfer of the Year, becoming the second MSU golfer to earn the award. Harmon finished in the top five in six of his nine tournaments this season, including back-to-back tournament titles at the Fossum/Spartan and Kepler Invitational.
Harmon is the second golfer to earn All-American accolades under head coach Mark Hankins.
