The MSU Dance Team will be holding team tryouts Saturday and Sunday at Breslin Center.

Registration for auditions begins at 8 a.m. both days, and a $20 fee is required.

The team performs at MSU football and basketball games, and travels each January to Orlando, Fla., to compete in the Universal Dance Association National Competition.

Students wishing to audition for the team must have registered for fall classes prior to trying out and also must present their student ID. Incoming freshmen can apply but must have proof of admission by Saturday.

During the audition, dancers will be required to learn a short routine, similar to one performed by the team during basketball game timeouts. Dancers then will be judged on their performance of the routine.
