Students to discuss own research

MSU's annual undergraduate student conference about Latin America and the Caribbean begins Wednesday with a 3 p.m. panel discussion by international political experts.

Undergraduate panel presentations will take place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Friday. Students will present their own research, with topics ranging from tropical deforestation in Brazil and Colombia's drug war to indigenous rights issues in Ecuador and Mexican health reform.

The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies' conference takes place on the International Center's third floor.
