A 22-year-old male student reported his wallet missing from the Administration Building between 1:15-1:40 p.m. Tuesday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The student said he had previously withdrawn $510 from an ATM in the building, and was sitting with a clerk to receive paperwork to pay off a short-term loan. He said he had his wallet out to show ID, and said he must have left the wallet when he stood up. He soon noticed his $40 wallet, containing $645 and multiple credit cards and ID, missing and returned to the area of the clerk to search for the wallet, but it was gone. The student said the next person in line, described as a college-age woman, may have taken the wallet, McGlothian-Taylor said.A 28-year-old female student reported her purse missing from the Computer Center between 6:10-6:15 p.m. Tuesday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The $20 purse contained a checkbook and a bottle of White Diamonds perfume, worth a total value of $81. The student said she left the purse, but took her wallet and cell phone with her, when she left the room. When she returned, it was missing. The student said a male was in the room before she left but was gone after the purse went missing, and she wasn't sure if he had taken it, McGlothian-Taylor said. Laura Misjak
