Six video and data projectors were stolen from the first floor of the Communication Arts and Sciences Building between 8:20 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The loss is valued at $24,350 and there was an estimated $500 of damage to a door, she said. A 19-year-old student reported $380 stolen from his South Case Hall dorm room between 6 p.m. Friday and 9 p.m. Saturday, McGlothian-Taylor said. Several people knew he had the money but did not know he kept it in his top desk drawer, she said. About 15 people the student knew from the dorm had visited the student's room to play video games, during which the door was left unlocked, McGlothian-Taylor said. There are no suspects.An 18-year-old student reported her wallet was stolen as she rode the Capital Area Transportation Authority Night Owl bus from Akers Hall to Wilson Hall at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The loss is estimated at $210, and there are no known suspects.Melissa Domsic
