Five current and former press secretaries of Michigan governors will speak at 5:30 p.m. today in the Big Ten A room of the Kellogg Center.

"Meet the Press Secretaries" is the 2005 Edward Zabrusky Public Relations Lecture. It also will recognize the 50th anniversary of the College of Communication Arts and Sciences.

The panel of speakers - several of which are MSU alumni - include Liz Boyd, Gov. Jennifer Granholm's current press secretary; Richard Milliman, press secretary for former Gov. George Romney; Alois Sandner, press secretary for former Gov. William Milliken; Thomas Scott, press secretary for former Gov. Jim Blanchard; and John Truscott, press secretary and chief of staff for former Gov. John Engler.

There is no charge for admission to the event, which is open to the public.
