The Jewish Student Union and Spartans for Israel will hold Israel Fest around 6 p.m. today at the rock on Farm Lane.
The free event will include performances from local bands and singers, as well as a performance from Remedy, who is affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan. Israeli food and an Israeli military-style, self-defense demonstration will be offered.
Information about the cultural and political aspects of Israel - including the recent Gaza Strip pullout - also will be provided.
