MSU and Michigan history will be the main topics of discussion at a conference being held Friday and Saturday by the Historical Society of Michigan.
Speakers include Provost Kim Wilcox and former state Gov. James Blanchard.
Conference activities include a Friday awards banquet at the MSU Museum, a variety of speakers on Saturday and a Saturday evening banquet under the dome at the Capitol.
The public is welcome to attend. Registration costs $149 for non-Historical Society of Michigan members, $119 for members and includes three meals.
