The Michigan Women's Commission will hold a workshop for women interested in running for political office Friday and Saturday at 110 W. Michigan Ave. in Lansing.
The workshop on Friday is from 5-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The event will cover topics such as why to run for political office and how to prepare and run a campaign.
