Evian Myrick, 12, of Haslett, flips on the Power Jump at the Play World Amusements carnival Thursday night.

The carnival was set up in the parking lot shared by Target and Kroger, in Okemos, since June 2 and ended on Sunday.

The carnival featured rides such as the Cave of Doom, a roller coaster, the Zipper and included various types of games with prizes.

Participants could also get cotton candy and other typical carnival food.

After Sunday, the carnival will continue traveling around the country.

"I work here because I wanted to travel and for the adventure," said Jenny Vandermad, the office manager from Cape Town, South Africa.
