A 19-year-old MSU student was arrested on a weapons violation yesterday at a traffic stop near Shaw Lane and Harrison Avenue, said MSU police Lt. Scott Beckner. Open alcohol was present in his vehicle along with a switchblade knife, which violates an MSU ordinance.Kris Turner
