Police briefs 05/17/05

A 50-year-old female MSU employee reported two Sharp computer projectors missing from Fee Hall between Saturday and Sunday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. Valued at $6,500 each, the projectors were taken from a locked room. The woman said she locked the door, left and returned the next day to find it still closed and locked. The case is still under investigation.• A 54-year-old male MSU employee reported a laptop computer, keys and briefcase missing from Fee Hall on Friday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The man said he left his belongings unattended in an office, and they were missing when he returned. The total value of the loss is $2,850, and the case is still under investigation.Kris Turner
