A 19-year-old male student said his wallet was stolen while he played basketball between 9:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in a gym at IM Sports-West, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The man told police he put his hooded sweatshirt, containing his wallet, on the bleachers with some other players' clothes while he played basketball. During that time, he noticed a man pick up some of the clothes and put them right back down, he told police.The suspect is described as a 21-year-old black man, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 235 pounds, with medium skin, a large build and a mark on his right cheek, McGlothian-Taylor said.The $40 wallet contained various identification and credit cards, a $40 bus pass, $60 cash and $80 in gift certificates to Buffalo Wild Wings. The case is still under investigation, McGlothian-Taylor said.Lauren Phillips
