A 19-year-old male student reported his Nintendo Game Cube and accessories were taken from his Bailey Hall room during winter break, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The student told police that the Game Cube, one controller and three wireless controllers were taken from his room sometime between Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. and Jan. 9 at 6 p.m. The game system and controller are valued together at $100, and the three wireless controllers have a combined total of $75.A Mario Kart video game valued at $50 was inside the system when it was taken, McGlothian-Taylor said.His room was locked and there were no signs of forced entry, McGlothian-Taylor said.There are no suspects, and the case is still under investigation. A 49-year-old university employee reported a Canon copy machine in the South Case Hall lobby damaged between 3:30 p.m. Dec. 16 and 7 a.m. Dec. 17. There were 10 dime-size holes punched into the top of the machine's control panel with an unknown object, McGlothian-Taylor said. Damage is estimated at about $200.There are no suspects and the case is still under investigation. An 18-year-old MSU student reported her Canon 35 mm camera damaged and the film and battery stolen, McGlothian-Taylor said.The film release button on the camera was damaged, valued at about $204.The Bryan Hall resident told police the film was valued at $4, and the Duracell battery valued at $9. Her student identification card also was taken from her desk. The student told police the incident occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Dec. 14 and noon Dec. 16.The student and her roommate were having ongoing problems, McGlothian-Taylor said. The roommate told police she did not take the items. The case is still under investigation.
