Injured icers making progress for return

Junior forward David Booth and senior forward Kevin Estrada were scratched from the lineup last weekend because of sickness, which they picked up on a recent road trip to Miami (Ohio).

Booth's illness was taken more seriously than originally diagnosed, when he lost more than 20 pounds and wasn't eating. Head coach Rick Comley said Booth has been making progress.

"I think he's over the hump now," Comley said.

"He's put some weight back on, (he's) still very weak, but at least now he's starting to eat again."

Comley said that Booth is "a ways away from returning" but that Estrada might have a chance to go this weekend.
