An 18-year-old female McDonel Hall resident reported two necklaces missing between Monday and Tuesday mornings, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The student told police the necklaces, worth $455, were missing from her bathroom. One was a $180 necklace and name charm; another was a $200 gold chain with a dolphin. A second dolphin charm, worth $75, was also missing.Police have no suspects, but the resident said a lot of people stopped by her room during the time period.• MSU police arrested a 53-year-old DeWitt man who propositioned a police officer for sex Tuesday evening, McGlothian-Taylor said. A plain-clothes officer on foot patrol in the Computer Center entered the men's bathroom, where he was propositioned by the man, who was masturbating as he exited a stall to speak with the officer, McGlothian-Taylor said.The man was arrested for gross indecency.Shannon Houghton
