Late bluebook order causes delivery delay

ASMSU has provided free bluebooks to students in the past years, but during this midterm season, they've been missing.

MSU's undergraduate student government plans to distribute bluebooks as soon as Thursday if the order is received as planned, said Dan Weber, Academic Assembly chairperson and the ASMSU official in charge or ordering bluebooks.

Ten thousand bluebooks were ordered in early September, but ASMSU hasn't yet received the books, Weber said. He added the process might take up to six weeks.

"It would have been possible to preemptively order, but it just wasn't done," he said. "They were simply doing it how it has been done in previous years."

He added that the assembly will look to order 10,000 more bluebooks in the spring because last year they ran out.
