It's been 10 years since the Seattle Police Department, Courtney Love and the media called Kurt Cobain's death a suicide. But the private investigator whom Love hired to track down Cobain after he left a drug rehabilitation center on April 1, 1994, has used those 10 years to push forth the overwhelming amount of evidence that says otherwise.
Tom Grant, who has been consulted for movies, articles and a book written about the mystery of Cobain's death, says Love had him killed. This isn't just any wacky conspiracy theory, though. Grant is a professional who has dedicated the past decade to finding out the truth of the King of Grunge's demise.
Grant's theory, which is shared by many, will be the main focus of tonight's episode of "Dateline NBC." The program, airing at 8 p.m., will feature Grant's evidence, most of which can be found in readable format on the Web site, cobaincase.com, along with Love's retort to the information.
This chilling episode of "Dateline" airs just three days prior to the 10th anniversary of Cobain's death.
