Economic trends in state focus of talks

A "Trends and Prospects in the Michigan Economy" seminar will take place today from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Senate Hearing Room of the Boji Tower in Lansing.

The program will focus on high technology, international trade, labor force and manufacturing and automotive aspects of Michigan's economy.

The program is one of a series sponsored by the MSU Institute for Public Policy and Social Research, University of Michigan's Center for Local, State and Urban Policy and Wayne State University's State Policy Center.
