A memorial service will be held Saturday for Ernst Lucas, known to many members of the MSU community as "Ernie the Can Man."
Lucas died in January at the age of 68.
Several of Lucas' family members are expected to be in attendance.
The service will be open to the public, and those wishing to attend are asked to bring an empty can or bottle. Profits will be donated to a cause that has yet to be decided.
The service will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Union parlor rooms.
