The editorial "Crass cash" (SN 2/17) was a valid "opinion," but was very insulting to all those with ample intelligence who read it. To call the individuals who created the scholarship fund "asinine" was rude and shows just how racist the people who wrote the editorial actually are.
Think about it. The State News is saying that it's wrong to promote the benefit of the common Caucasian who tries to find the needed money for college. A mind is a terrible thing to waste no matter what color, creed or gender. Why shouldn't there be a United Caucasian College Fund?
