Trumpeter, novelist to be program speakers

A trumpeter and a novelist will spend two days at MSU showing students what they can do with a degree in arts and humanities.

Historical novelist R. D. Zimmerman and Chicago Symphony Orchestra musician Tage Larsen will visit classes and talk with students Thursday and Friday.

The two men will be on campus for the College of Arts and Letters' Alumni Leaders Program.

Larsen also will present a recital at 7:30 p.m. today in the Music Building auditorium and will lead a free master class at 4:15 p.m. Thursday in the Music Building's Hart Recital Hall.
