Police briefs 01/26/04

Staff from North Wonders Hall reported a front door window shattered by a pellet from a pellet gun, MSU police Sgt. Jennifer Brown said. Damage is estimated at $1,000. At about the same time, a 20-year-old male student entering the building told police he was hit in the leg with a pellet. Brown said the victim didn't believe the shot was directed toward him and refused medical treatment.Police have no suspects.• A 27-year-old female student told police she received several obscene telephone calls early Sunday morning, Brown said.The student, a resident of Owen Graduate Hall, said the calls were from both a man and a woman.Police have no suspects.Sarah McEvilly
