Michael Moore to visit campus Aud on Friday

Controversial author and filmmaker Michael Moore will visit MSU on Friday to speak about his new book "Dude, Where's My Country?" and other topics, including the upcoming presidential election and the war in Iraq. The lecture will take place in the main hall of the Auditorium.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. and Moore is scheduled to begin speaking at 8 p.m. Following the lecture will be a book signing facilitated by Barnes & Noble Booksellers. The signing will be held in the Fairchild Theatre.

Residence Halls Association, the Multicultural Center and ASMSU, MSU's undergraduate student government, are co-sponsoring the event. The lecture will be preceded by a showing of Moore's Oscar-winning documentary, "Bowling for Columbine," at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in B108 Wells Hall.
