Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road in Okemos, will host a Halloween Adventures party from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The event will feature a variety of children's activities, including a Halloween fun house, pumpkin decorating, crafts and games. Hayrides also will be offered, and costumed characters will hand out treats in the "friendly forest."
The event is $5 per child and free for accompanying adults.
