Comley ruined hockey program

Rick Comley has taken one of the most successful college hockey programs in the country and totally destroyed it. It's bad enough that MSU lost to a nobody in Findlay last weekend, but to lose twice to a mediocre Ohio State team is a disgrace.

Worse is that all of these games were played at Munn Ice Arena.

And, of course, I can't forget to mention last year's pathetic fourth-place CCHA finish, early exit from the CCHA Tournament and failure to make the NCAA Tournament.

There hasn't been one bit of improvement this season. Our Spartans continue to make the same mistakes over and over again.

They constantly pass behind everyone, can't win a faceoff to save their lives and haven't rushed the opposing goalie once.

This is gross incompetence, and the blame goes squarely on Comley.

What exactly did he do in practice last week?

The mistakes that cost MSU the Findlay game were the same mistakes that cost us both Ohio State games.

Ohio State barely had to work to beat MSU; it's as if our team had given up during warmups.

Ron Mason, you were willing to fire Bobby Williams when he destroyed our football program.

Are you willing to fire Comley in order to save your hockey program?

Everything you worked to build at MSU, our great winning tradition, has been destroyed by Comley in a little more than a year.

Comley is leading us down the road of mediocrity - MSU deserves better then this.

As a proud Spartan alumnus and diehard hockey fan, I'm begging Mason to save our hockey program.

Fire Comley and restore our winning hockey tradition.
