Greek Week kicks off with several events

Greek Week 2003, which started this week, will continue until Friday across campus as the National Pan-Hellenic Council hosts events each day.

A Greek Symposium will be held today at 8 p.m. in the Shaw Hall East Lounge. Greek members will be on hand for a question-and-answer session with interested students.

The Walk for AIDS benefit will start at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Auditorium.

The Rev. Viol Trice Sr. will reflect on the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001 in a speech titled "2001 Visual Speech" Thursday at 9 p.m. in the Kedzie Hall courtyard.

The Divine Nine Ice Breaker Party will get hopping Friday at 9 p.m. in IM Sports-West. Tickets can be purchased for $5 in advance at (517) 882-3153, (517) 355-8230 or (517) 355-0942. At the door, they are $7.
