Founding dean speaks at medicine lecture

The College of Human Medicine will present Paul Farmer as the featured speaker at this year's Andrew D. Hunt Endowed Lectureship.

Farmer's speech, "Ethics and Equity: Current Challenges in International Health," will be at 3 p.m. on Friday in the Wharton Center's Pasant Theatre. The event is free and open to the public.

Hunt was the founding dean of the MSU College of Human Medicine in 1964. Farmer co-founded the international health organization Partners in Health which provides health care for the poor.
