Tonight, teachers and aspiring teachers won't be grading students' poetry - they'll be sitting back and listening to it.
The National Council of Teachers of English is sponsoring a poetry slam from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Writing Center of Bessey Hall.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own poetry to share, but all are welcome to sit and enjoy others' work.
Punch and pie will be provided at this free event on the third floor of Bessey Hall.
