A staff member from MSU Extension has been selected for the Michigan Agricultural Electric Council.
Roxanne Pillars, a dairy agent for MSU Extension, will sit on the 10-member council, which serves as a resource for farmers, veterinarians, Extension agents and Michigan agribusiness's. The council has other representatives from MSU, Consumers Energy, DTE Energy, Michigan Electric Cooperative Association and the Michigan Public Service Commission.
Pillars is an alumna of the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine and earned a master's degree in animal science.
