What a joke! Earvin "Magic" Johnson is a great example to our young college students - play a year of college basketball and go to the NBA and make lots of money, oops! Marcus Taylor went that route and look what happened.

Secondly, Johnson is one of the worst alums this school has. Former Spartan Kirk Gibson said it himself on the radio when trying to contact famous alumni for donations to the university, "Johnson gave the least."

Furthermore, Magic has set a great example of how to contract HIV through numerous partners while he was married.

So I guess that is the direction of this university - lets commemorate someone who used MSU to make a million and never returns the favor by giving back. Why don't we put up statues of real role models like Steve Smith or Morris Peterson, AJ Granger, Kevin Willis and the list goes on and on.

Sorry Magic, I only want statues of people who graduated from this institution not people who use MSU to promote themselves or their coffee shops.

By the way, why doesn't Johnson either show up to a large percentage of games or don't show up at all.

I am sick to my stomach when I see him in the stands as soon as we get to the tourney, stop jinxing us - we don't need you.
