The MSU-Detroit College of Law is holding its annual Animal Law Symposium from 12:30-5 p.m. in Room 343 of the MSU-DCL Building.
The Animal Legal Historical Center of MSU-Detroit College of Law and the animal law section of the Michigan State Bar Association are co-sponsoring the event, in its second year.
In October, DCL Professor David Favre launched the Animal Legal and Historical Center. The site, www.animallaw.info, includes information about 120 statutes and 200 cases involving animal rights.
