Columnist's choice of discussion awful

Unfortunately, I read John Bice's whiny column in The State News, "First Impression of Bush was apparently off target," (SN 3/25). His mind is what is off target.

Instead of supporting his country, his troops and his president in times as important as they are right now, he chooses to make a fool of himself with his ultraliberal standpoint and unpatriotic concepts.

I hate people who use their First Amendment right to spout off about our nation in a time when there is no room for it. It is his right to exercise the First Amendment, but his views are way, way out of line.

Those of us who support this war don't want to read a column that is unpatriotic and as far left wing as possible. Yeah, sure, global warming is upon us. Yet how do you explain one of the coldest winters not only in Michigan, but across the Midwest and the East Coast as well?

Bice is such a joke and his choice of discussions is abysmal. He needs to find something else to talk about. Perhaps the majority of his readers might stop yawning. I know I will because I refuse to read another word he chooses to write.
