Three students were awarded $500 each after winning the Second Annual Multicultural Heroes Hall of Fame Case Competition on Wednesday. The students made up one group out of six, each competing for a multicultural hero they chose to present.
Agriscience juniors Kara Butters and Kendra Butters and agriscience sophomore Jeremy Glaspie won for their presentation on activist Cesar Chavez.
A second place award of $200 gift certificates to the MSU Bookstore was given to the group presenting on Fred Korematsu.
Each group of three students were given 10 minutes to present a historical figure in a creative way.
