Conservative speaker Daniel J. Flynn is bringing his message on "Why the Left Hates America" to MSU today.

Flynn will speak at 7:30 p.m. in Room C102 of Wilson Hall.

Flynn is the executive director of Accuracy in Academia and author of the book "Why the Left Hates America: Exposing the Lies that Have Obscured Our Nation's Greatness."

Matthew Thome, co-chair of the MSU College Republicans Communications Committee said he will provoke discussion and make students re-examine their approach to patriotism.

The College Republicans are sponsoring the event.

Thome said after Sept. 11 "there was a rampant expansion of anti-American sentiment, especially on college campuses."
