Applications are now available for students interested in being a member of ASMSU.

The MSU undergraduate student government's information packet can be picked up at 307 Student Services. Completed applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 26.

Students looking to join ASMSU as a representative of their college must explain why they are running for a seat on either the Academic or Student assemblies, list previous leadership roles, at least three issues they would pursue as a member and how they would implement those issues.

Academic Assembly focuses on academic issues and policies, while Student Assembly addresses student life issues.

A minimum of 15 signatures is also required for a student's name to be placed on the March 19 ballot.
