MSU has formed a group to review residence hall security measures on campus.

Director of University Housing Angela Brown, Residence Halls Association President Tim Liss and MSU police Capt. Ken Hall are members of the group.

The group also will include a faculty member, who has yet to be named.

It was established by MSU President M. Peter McPherson and Fred Poston, vice president for finance and operations at MSU, in response to the Jan. 30 Case Hall knife assault.

"We have a variety of security measures in place in our residence halls and routinely assess our approach," Poston said. "We are reviewing this incident in the context of our overall effort."
