The High School Equivalency Program and College Assistant Migrant Program will host an open house today from 3-6 p.m. in 244 East Akers Hall.
The HEP program assists migrant students who haven't finished high school to complete their diplomas on campus and is in its first year.
CAMP, a 3-year-old program, aids migrant students in the transition to campus.
"It is important to have HEP on campus because Michigan has a large migrant population," said Marcelina Trevino-Savala, assistant director of HEP. "It gives the students an opportunity to come back and complete their education and look to their future to see what they want to do career-wise."
After completing the HEP program, students have the opportunity to explore higher education.
