Michigan writers, books featured in series

MSU students and faculty are invited to meet several authors and discuss their work for free on campus.

The Michigan Writers Series begins at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24 in Room W449 of the Main Library.

The first speaker is Bonnie Jo Campbell, author of "Q Road" and "Women and Other Animals."

On Feb. 7, Deanne Lundin will read from her poetry collection, "The Ginseng Hunter's Notebook."

Liesel Litzenburger, an assistant professor of English at Central Michigan University, will discuss her work, "Now You Love Me," on March 14.

The series continues throughout the month of April.
